Suggest Treatment For Right Side Pelvic Pain

I have had right side pelvic pain for several months. It subsides but is very frequent. I also have lower back pain and tailbone pain. I also get gassy and sometimes get relief from a bm. I do not always have diarrhea but stool is always soft. Sometimes have nausea and feeling of fullness.

Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

This type of right side pelvic pain or lower quadrant (right illiac fossa) pain may be due to spasm, acute appendicitis or right kidney stones etc but it needs to be evaluated further by clinical examination and various tests to detect the underlying cause.

You should undergo routine blood investigations with x- ray abdomen and ultrasound abdomen first to make a diagnosis.

Treatment will be based on underlying cause otherwise you can symptomatic treatment like antispasmodics with antacids and prebiotics or probiotics.

As you had infrequent diarrhoea or soft stool then the chances of colitis will be very less.

Consult surgeon or gastroenterologist for further advise.

Regards,
