Hi ! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.

If I were your doctor, with this kind of history I would after a physical examination and related investigation like a complete blood count, a stool test for ova and cyst, urine routine/microscopic and culture sensitivity test try to rule out chances of acute appendicitis, or a UTI (urinaty tract infection). In case it becomes inconclusive, I would advise you for an ultrasound of abdomen to rule out any other intra-peritoneal pathology including the pathology of pelvic adnexa in case you are a female. In case of UTI or any intestinal infection, treatment with appropriate antibiotics would relieve your problem, but in case of any other diagnosis, the management would depend on the doctor treating you. I would at the moment would advise you to report at the ER of your nearest hospital for a complete physical examination and related investigations for an appropriate diagnosis and further management.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.

Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
