Suggest Treatment For Rheumatoid Arthritis

hi doctor, my fiance suddenly suffered from knee joint pain. she met a orhto in chennai and took blood test. her RA factor i guess or somehtin was 16% and doc said she is suffereng from rheumatoid arthretis.is it better to meet a rheumatologist and confirm also what will be the effects.can she lead a normal life.

yes get ra factor and blood inestigations done. see for platelet count and esr. every 2 month repeat blood reports. take methotrexate 7.5 mg weekly. start folic acid daily. do static quadriceps exercise for knee pain . give indomethacin 75 mg for pain. will help her to get well soon . take care
