Suggest Treatment For Rheumatoid Arthritis

hi my mother age 67 years old. having ESR 54mm/1st hr and RA Factor (Quantitative) 59.01IU/ml. my mother feeling pain in joints in shoulder. arthritis problem. RHEUMATIC pain. feeling ill weight goes down 5 to 7 kg previous month. how to decrease ESR and RA Factor. tell me the treatment and diet as well. thanks.

Hi.
Rheumatoid arthritis is life long disease, it can be controlled with drug like methotrexate, short course of steroids and painkillers.disease monitoring is important with the tests like ESR, CRP. FULL BLOOD COUNT and LIVER FUNCTION TEST should be repeated on monthly basis as methotraxate is toxic for liver and bone marrow.
You should have an appointment of rheumatologist as they are trained in this field.
