Suggest Treatment For Rheumatoid Arthritis Hand Pain

I have RA in my hands. I am left handed and my left hand and my two middle very swollen and fingers have become extremely painful. I cannot make a fist and I cannot open my hand completely. I have also become very tired? I got an injection in m hand but it didn t help. I am Executive Assistant & Sales and Marketing Coordinator and have to use my hands. an you give me some guidance? dear friend
if you have a diagnosed RA were you not on treatment for the same with DMARDs
if so are you taking those medications regularly and attending followups.
what injection was given in your hand and was it prescribed by your rheumatologist.
please schedule an early appointment with your rheumatologist and get the situation assessed as it can lead to major deformity and disability please do not ignore the symptoms because if you have stopped responding to a DMARD alternate will have to be tried to prevent disease from progressing
