I have a reoccuring abscess for the third time ive had it drain all three times its pimp like with a foul smelling pus an is located on an below my bur crack they have never told me what kinda abscess it is or what causes it just dain it an i got in to my clinic for them to remove some of the packing they give me amoxicilin 875mg an ibprofen 800 for pain which dont help it reoccurs every 5-6 months i d like to know what kind of abscess it is any other medications to help it from reoccuring an recommend something else for pain i could ask about to help with the pain something that contain no codiene or if i should ask my doc. about surgery

You have problem of recurent abcess. This is seen most commonly in diabetes .
In diabetes patient more chanses of infection is more. So it may cause repeated abcess
Check your blood sugar level first. If it is high than control blood sugar level.
