Suggest Treatment For Regrowth Of Schwannoma Tumor Despite Surgery
Hi Sir, This is Ramachandra. I have schwannoma tumor of size 4-5cm. I had a surgery on 10th september 2015. Doctor told us that, tumor was totally removed & a thin layer was left on my facial nerve. Recent MRI shows, tumor is started growing & the size is 4.4cm. Can you suggest the treatment other than surgery ?

Regarding your relapse of your diagnosed schwannoma tumor following a previous surgery i will suggest there are other measures other than going for revision surgery they include radiotherapy and chemotherapy
Please see another oncologist specialist for further clinical assessment and immediate start of chemo and radiotherapy
