Suggest Treatment For Redness Of Skin Along With Swollen Lymphnodes In Groin Area

I recently came into contact with poison ivy, which I am severely allergic to. My inner-forearms and thighs began to blister and my neck and face was swollen and red. The rashes were spreading to my chest and my right eye was almost completely swollen shut. I went to the doctors 3 days later and was prescribed steroid pills. These pills helped a lot and the rashes and swelling have gone down but my skin is still red and dry. Behind my knees there are dark purple areas that stretches from mid-calf to mid-thigh. I feel fine just lying down but when I am standing upright there is an intense pain. My lymph nodes are swollen in the groin area as well. Is this an infection or shingles or normal? Will the steroids fix this? I really don t want to go back to the doctors and wait for another two hours. Thank you!

use antihistamines orally and apply lubricating creams on your dry body areas twice or thrice a day.do get your platelet count and clotting and bleeding profile done to rule out hematoma formation.that is blood clotted in your calf muscles.as lymph nodes are enlarged so also take an oral antiobiotic as it may be an infective process
