Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have developed very red toes this week. not very sore but completely red all over toes. this is not like any toe fungus I have ever had and itches very little if any but is alarming. Could this be related to my senior flu shot injection last week? I am 76 and understand I received the super or stronger dosage and it was given in my physician s office.
There are many possible conditions that can cause red toes. One common cause is an infection or injury. A physical examination is needed to confirm the diagnosis.
Meanwhile, I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the inflammation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
