Suggest Treatment For Red Spot On The Back Of The Hand

hi doc, this morning i suddenly found a red spot on back of my left hand, just below the middle finger, its not itchy or painful, firts i thought that perhaps its a lipstick mark. please let me know what should be dome about it. thanks in advance regards rashmeet

Hi,

I would suggest you maintain the cleanliness of the area and keep it dry. You should take a diet rich in multivitamins and apply betnovate cream. You should apply topical antibacterial ointment mupirocin on it. You should apply vitamin E Oil at night as well. Visit dermatologist once if symptoms keep on persisting and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription.
