Suggest Treatment For Red And Swollen Vulva

So there is two small lesions that are red on the outer area and white i the middle , one has an irregular shape, they are sore to touch, howvwer the do not bleed or give out pus, and have not scabbed in the past week. It doesn t hurt to urinate , i have had no flu symptoms etc. My vulva is red and slightly swollen, itchy at times and has a lot of whit stuff inside the vagina. I only noticed this after having really rough sex with my boyfriend of 6 years (monogamous) and I have unprotedted sex with him all the time as i have the implant. I had sex with him one week prior to this but was well lubricated. Any thoughts? Could this be herpes or a yeast infection , i itched my vagina and it got sore. Thanks

Hi,

Red and sore vulva can occur as a result of excess friction and lack of lubrication from rough sexual intercourse. Altered color or foul smelling vaginal discharge can indicate vaginal infections. Vaginal smear can also be taken to rule out any vaginal or sexually transmitted diseases.
