Hi,

Noted your history about repeated strep throat, consulted many Doctors, got antibiotic courses but the problem comes again.
The commonest cause can be one of the following or a combination:
Sinusitis causing postnasal drip and thus causing throat infection and resultant problems.
Community transmission if you are meeting lots of people daily due to work or job profile.
Low resistance power or immunity problems.
Hene investigations in this regard by CT scan of Sinuses. throat swab for gram staining, culture and sensitivity would allow proper antibiotics.
Also take a proper prescription from your Doctor for antibiotic.
Liquid povidone iodine gargles.
Anti-inflammatory medicines.
Decongestants.
Supportive multivitamins, mineral and trace elements work as antioxidants and helps recovery.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT & General Surgeon
