Suggest Treatment For Recurring Pneumonia In An Adult With Cerebral Palsy

I have a 43 year old son with severe cerebral palsy who has acute phlegm and coughs constantly especially when being fed (I have now pureed his food and thickened his drinks ) what can I do about this phlegm which he has such difficulty getting up he has phomonia twice in the past 6 months otherwise he has wonderful health but I don t what to do about this thank you

Concerning your son's experience with recurrent pneumonia following symptoms of cough and phlegm with a history of Cerebral palsy I will recommend a broad spectrum antibiotics injections be used he can take any of the following ceftriaxone rocephin ciprofloxacin

Furthermore please do sputum and blood culture to detect possible resistant microorganisms

Regarding his Cerebral palsy he should see a neurologist specialist for expert management
