Suggest Treatment For Recurring Itchy Red Patches On The Skin
Skin getting red patches .got better when started wilsolone tablets three times a day for one week and then two times a day.when dose was reduced one time a day the red colour with itching and hardness in that area which is spreading to adjacent areas started to appear. I am taking cetrizine and applying diprovate lotion .i want to know whether my treatment is correct .
Hello, Welcome to HCM. You have not mentioned the exact site and size of your lesions. It looks like eczema from the history you have given but possibility of fungal infection is also there. Your treatment is correct in case of eczema but if it is fungal infection then antifungal medicines needs to be added depending upon the severity of infection.
