Suggest Treatment For Recurring Bruise On Arm

I developed a bruise on my arm that swelled and itched. I went to the doctor and was given an antibiotic and itching cream. The antibiotic was in case it was lime disease or Rocky Mountain spotter fever. So it went down and the bruise became lighter. Some time pass and it came back the same way but the itching and swelling are gone for now, however the bruise is dark and not lightening up at all. It is pretty big also. Any idea what this could be because I ve never had this before until it showed up 3 to 4 months ago?

Hello,
Thanks for the query.
you might be having a low platelet count and hence you are developing these bruises.
Get your platelet levels, bleeding and clotting time checked.
Sometimes spontaneous bruising might be associated with dangerous systemic conditions.
I suggest you to get a thorough check up done.
Usually it takes around 2 weeks for the bruise to heal,
you can use oint thrombophobe to get a faster relief.
A photograph would have helped me better.
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
Let me know if you have any other doubt.
