Laura has recently been on broad spectrum antibiotics for a recurrent urinary bladder infection. While slicing meat, she cut herself and had difficulty stopping the bleeding. How may have the prolonged use of antibiotics played a role in her bleeding ?

Hello,

There is a certain level of influence of antibiotics on prolonged bleeding. It depends on the type of antibiotics and other associated drug which was used during the course time.

Need to visit your treated physician to know about the type of antibiotics and its influence.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
