Suggest Treatment For Recurrent UTIs

I am being treated for a UTI again. I get them like every 3-5 months. I have a substantially large kidney stone in my right kidney. My Dr. said to leave it there. To try to remove it could result in the removal of my kidney all together. Is there anything I can do to stop these UTI s and prevent the loss of my kidney? I also have blood in my urine. I m currently on an antibiotic for the infection.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you!

Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.

This is all due to the impingement of the stone on surrounding Cortical/and/or Medullary structures of the kidney. When it happens every 3-5 months, it is due to irritation and infection due to the stone. I will suggest you to consult some good Urologist for complete evaluation and some surgical way out to remove the stone. You have not shared any measurements of the stones and where it actually is, otherwise I must have guided you along the course.

Final Impression:-
Don't stop taking the medicines and consult a neurologist for help to remove the stone surgically.
Hope I answered all of your health concerns . If you have further questions in future, feel free to contact me anytime. In the start of your question write my name, and I will get back to you in no time. If satisfied, please click you found it helpful.

Have a wonderful time ahead.

Best Regards!
