Suggest Treatment For Rectal Bleeding

Hi my name is Annelise and am 42 years old and have an eight year old daughter. These last few years I have been noticing a tiny drop of blood on the toilet paper when I wipe after my stools . Please not that the blood is coming from the skin (hole) and haven t seen blood in my feces. What could this be please? After each time I go to empty my stools I have pain there...

There is a list of causes for rectal bleeding...
. Common causes include

Anal fissures
Hemorrhoids
Cancers and polyps of the rectum and colon
Diverticulosis
Abnormal blood vessels (angiodysplasia)
Ulcerative colitis
Ulcerative proctitis
Crohn's colitis
Infectious colitis
Ischemic colitis
Meckel's diverticula
In your case the diagnosis most probably is ..hemorrhoids.. But I will advice to seek a general surgeon to do a detailed physical examination sigmoidoscopy and blood tests.
