Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Scalp

my husband is 73yrs. old and has a few health problems but today he said the top of his head hurt, it was very sore to touch and had trouble laying his head on a pillow. When I looked some parts of his scalp looked pink like a possible rash but not sure. Any thoughts?

I have gone through your query. If you send a picture of the rash then it will be more helpful. It can be due to psoriasis.In such case using salicylic acid and potent corticosteroids like clobetasol combination lotions will be helpful.
