Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Lips

Hi. There is a rash (of sorts) in the corner of my bottom lip. At times it tingles and feels as if it s spreading. I apply bacitracin to the surface a few times daily, which stops the tingling, but it didn t seem to be going away. Not sure what to do.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having cheilitis, my treatment advice is -
1. Take good nutritious diet full of green leafy vegetables and milk.
2. Take a vitamin b12 supplement once daily for 3 months.
3. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
4. Other treatment options are oral fluconazole, multivitamins taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
