Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Glans Penis
me and my wife have not been having any form of sexual contact for the past 5 years though we are living together with out 4 year old twin daughters. i also confirm that i do not have any sort of sexual relations in any way at all till dte. 15 days ago my penis glans developed a bad rash and i have been applying Surfaz cream & Tebricad cream to the entire glans. I had the FAS 3 kit course 4 days back. the infection still persists and since i have stopped applying the said ointments the glans has turned red there is a bit of itching. Kindly help. i havent shown my condition to a doc.

Your symptoms could be due to fungal infection, contact dermatitis. I would suggest to consult a dermatologist and undergo detailed examination KOH mount preparation to confirm cause. Take following prescribed medicines:
For fungal infection, You require oral terbinafine for 2 to 3 week. I would recommend you to change it to some other topical antifungal like sertaconazole cream or luliconazole cream. Tablet levoctrizine for itching. Keep are clean and dry, wear pure cotton loose inner and stay in cool environment. Drink plenty of water and eat healthy diet. For dermatitis:Mild steroid ointment will help you. Wash affected part with warm water. Application of cetaphil moisturizer cream.
