Suggest Treatment For Rash In Vaginal Area Of A Child

my 6 year old daughter is having problems making to the bathroom and is as she is on her way to the bathroom, she can t hold it and leaks some every time she goes. she is not always letting me know and is not always changing her underwear. she is now complaining that her bottom burns. she has a red rash between her legs and on her labia. what is the best thing to put on this and how do i know if it is a yeast infection or fungal infection?

Hi,

It could be voiding dysfunction.
The kid might require an ultrasound for this.
As of now you can use OTC steroid + antifungal medication. If it is not better in 5 days - see her pediatrician.
