Pulmonologist 's  Response
Your condition is called pectus carinatum. Usually it is seen since childhood. Though you are asymptomatic there is some evidence that pectus carinatum may prevent complete expiration of air from the lungs and also may have a decrease in stamina, even if you do not recognize it.
Pulmonary function testing may be useful to determine the impact of the deformity on the performance of the heart and lungs. Consult a pulmonologist for the same. Even the army people will ask for the same.Ideally correction surgeries are done in childhood.
Hope your questions were answered.
