I had a bump on my calf that looked like a mosquito bite. It itched for several weeks. I went to see my PCP, who gave me an antibiotic and steroid cream. Neither worked and I began itching all over my body. So I thought I was allergic to the antibiotic so I quit taking it. Then I went back to him and got a steroid injection. That was two days ago and no relief. This morning I woke up with spots that were red on my R hip. These spots eventually, within hours, turned purple. I have also noticed spots of bruising on my body that I ve just blown off thinking I bumped into something. I am primarily itching on my calves, upper arm and breast. Any idea???
