About two months ago I began to feel a pulse in my ear. It was on and off and began to get more severe. Now I have pain on the side of my face, down into my neck on the right side and radiating into my right shoulder and back of my neck. I am 31. My family has a history of aneurisms and heart disease. I m quite concerned and cannot get in to see my doctor for over a week. The pain is much more severe today.
tinnitus can be cause by many factors like stress , temporomandibular joint problem , wisdom tooth , cervical spondolysis and increase blood pressure .
In your case it seems to me that the main cause of tinnitus is either overall increase in blood pressure or local increase in blood pressure do to blood vessel dysfunction Because pulsating tinnitus is usually caused by variation in blood pressure or blood flow.
I would suggest you to consult your cardiologist for proper diagnosis .
Doctor may prescribe medicines to normalize blood pressure like beta blockers .
