Suggest Treatment For Protein In Urine
Respected Sir, I have a urine protein problem from the last 1 year and my test report is 3 gm/day. I have consulted so many doctors but the position is almost the same. They advised to do dialysis but one doctor from jalandhar said that to go through kidney test. Please give me your kind suggestion what can i do. thanks & regards Ravi kumar Gupta

The protein in urine is called proteinuria and such amount of protein excretion is usually due to nephrotic syndrome like kidney disease.
The dialysis is done only when kidney function affected markedly and there is an accumulation of waste products in blood. So you need to investigate further with serum urea, creatinine estimation, blood gas analysis for further workup.
According to the cause-specific treatment given. You need to consult Urologist for detailed evaluation.
