Suggest Treatment For Prostate In A Old Aged Man

DEAR DOCTOR , my father 72 years had a cereberal near baout 10 of march 2011. it is mild storke. he is also suffering from prostate( which is to be done micro surgery) I want to know know whether surgery can be done of not because here doctor says surgery has to be done as early s it is posible

Hello,

If prostate enlargement is symptomatic and not improving with medication than surgery is needed.

If ultrasonography of prostate and PSA level raised suspicious for prostate cancer than also it need to be removed.
