Suggest Treatment For Prolonged Irritable Bowel Syndrome

I have Irritable Bowel syndrome...I was using medicines for the last 3 weeks I was suggested the following drugs 1.Ibset1-0-0 2.Tryptomer 0-0-1/2 3.rifasut 1-0-1 4.VSL#3 0-1-0(using amicolon due to non-availability) 5.Normaxin 1-0-1 they does not seem to show any effect. I am worried.

Hello.
I have gone through your question and understand your concern. My suggestion in addition to the medications will be: identify and avoid food (like cabbage, lettuce) or drinks (coffee, tea, carbonated drinks) that trigger the symptoms, add a fiber supplement to your daily routine to add bulk to stool and most importantly reduce your stress level. IBS dose not pose a serious threat to your physical health and does not increase your chances of developing cancer so relax. Good luck. Hope your concern is answered. Thank You.
