Suggest Treatment For Prolonged Ear Ache

Hello. I have a painful ear ache and I ve got it for 4 days now! Few days ago I woke up and I had a painful ear ache I told my mum and she said we ll go to the doctor. We went there and the doctor said that I have an inflamed ear and medicines won t help. That s what she said!! I m suffering in pain I need to get rid of this pain!!

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain there is a possibility that inflammation inside the ear seems to be due to infection in the ear and it can be very well treated..

You can take a short course of antibiotics like Augmentin..
Take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Advil or Motrin..
You can also take a short course of steroids..
Antibiotic and steroid ear drops should be put in the ears..
Avoid excessive water exposure to the ears like Swimming that can even cause ear infection..
