Suggest Treatment For Prolapsed Rectum

Due to constipation, I developed a prolapsed anus during prepubescence, which eventually became a prolapsed rectum. I am a 58 year old vegan woman in good health, except for osteopenia. Are there any minimally invasive surgical options with high percentage longterm sucess rates that I might consider to reattach the rectum to where it belongs inside my body?

Urologist 's  Response
hi, yes. you should consult a surgeon or a proctologist for your condition. the surgery can be performed laparoscopically (2-3 holes in abdomen) and a mesh used to attach upper part of rectum and large bowel to the sacrum (bone). take care.
