Suggest Treatment For Productive Cough

Hello. For a week now I have been having productive cough. During the first few days, I was feeling lethargic and I was coughing a lot. Then the lethargy went away and I coughed less (about 3 days in). But then I started coughing up small amounts of blood with sputum, about once a day. Then the cough almost went away and I started having a runny nose which turned into congestion and now something like a sinus infection. I still get the blood in sputum about once a day. It's been 4 days now.

Hi and welcome in HCM.

I can understand your concern and will trz to give you some more info.

Ass you explain it seems to be an infection situation.
I would recommend you to do some tests as follows:
Hemogram
CRP
ESR
Chest X ray

To rule out infection lung diseases. If they are postive your doctor will prescribe you antibiotics mucolitics and symptomatics.
With the passing of time the blood should go away.

So consult your doctor for further follow up.
Best wishes
