Suggest Treatment For Posterior Tibial Tendonitis

I believe I have a mild case of posterior tibial tendonitis. The pain is manageable with NSAIDS, the swelling is minimal and ice feels good. But one other thing is driving me crazy. The inside of my ankle itches like mad. It s kind of a combo of ache and itch and feels good when I scratch the area. Is that normal with this diagnosis?

Hi,

I have gone through your complaints and itching and ache in the ankle area could be due to stasis eczema or less likely due to posterior tibial tendonitis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Asmeet Kaur Sawhney,
