Understand your concern.
Main problems in PCOS are: hormonal imbalance, irregular menstruation, no ovulation.
First you have to try medical treatment. If medical treatment will not responds then you have to surgical process like ovarian dreelings.
I advice to go for following investigation: Testosterone/free testosterone, DHEAS, LH, FSH, SHBG, Prolactin, E2 ,Progesterone.
All these help in management of case.
Treatment:
Main of treatment are: regularize the period, induction of ovulation, maintenance of fertility, maintain glucose homeostasis and decrease insulin resistance, reduce weight, regular hormone, maintain fertility and treatment of acne and hirsutism if present:
Drug therapy:
Oral contraceptive pills: regular the menstrual cycle
Spironolactone and fulatamide: diuretic action and also induce ovulation
Metformin: for maintain glucose homeostasis and weight, induce ovulation
Clomiphene citrate to induce ovulation and maintain fertility
Topical eflornithine: for hirsutism if present.

If not responds to medical treatment surgery like ovarian dreeling can be used
Diet: take small frequent meal rather large meal
Avoid fatty/spicy/salty foods, take fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables
Avoid excessive sweets and yeast, Start regular exercise for 45-60 minutes in the morning (evening walk, morning walk and medication)
Reduce at least 10 percent weight HELP IN induce the abortion.

Also the rule out the cause of ovarian pain by USG and Follicular study like ovarian malignancy. Pelvic inflammaory diseases can be rule out for ovarian pain.
