Suggest Treatment For Pollen Allergy

Hello, I was driving with my windows down and it seems that the pollen (which I m allergic to) has started to irritate my throat. I have a dry cough and I have to keep clearing my throat. My throat was a little sore yesterday but it felt better today. What can I use as a treatment for my throat? Thanks in advance. Missy

Hi...Can understand your concern...As per your query about treatment of pollen allergy is you can take levocetrizine 10 mg (to controll release of mast cells andhistamines due to allergic reaction)for getting relief from irritation in throat and dry cough ...As far as sore throat is concerned it can also be a secondary infection due to allergy for which antibiotics will work. Avoid exposure to pollens and dust to occur such conditions as it may sometimes lead to other problems like stressful breathing and other hyper senstivity reactions .You need not to worry ,can do warm saline rinses several times and if feeling more sore and uncomfortable should consult a physician..I hope the information helps you.Take care.
