I really appreciate your concern, if the symptom is of tightening of chest then underlying cause of this need to be know, it could be due to some lung disease, may be due to hyperacidity and could be some functional disease, do not try anything beside the drug but get done the x-ray of chest, and other related tests till then "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg" once in day can be tried, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
