Suggest Treatment For Pleurisy Pain

Yes, I have had Pleurisy pains for several days after being outside in the cold & rain at Christmas time by traveling to TX. They have kept me awake, now this morning I could barely get out off bed or take a deep breath. It hurts in both lungs, normally in the left one but this time in the right side. I can t do anything and I have a history of walking pneumonia, so everyone is wanting me to go to the doctor and get an X-ray. I think I may need to also. It is so upsetting not to be able to get anything done and I sit here looking at all I need to be up doing, but can t. Please help me decide what I need to do? Thank you, Joann Winfree Thanks, I don t need to pay, when I have a good doctor here in my City that I can call today or tomorrow. I have had this enough to know to get an x-ray to rule out pneumonia. Then go from there with my doctor here. Thanks. I can understand your situation and problem.
Yes, you should definitely consult doctor and get done chest x ray.
Becayse pneumonia appears more in your case.
Pneumonia cause inflammation of pleura and it is known as pleurisy.
So the treatment of pneumonia should be started to control pleuritic pain.
So consult doctor and start appropriate antibiotic treatment for pneumonia.
Apply warm water pad on affected site. This will give you some relief in pleuritic pain.
