Suggest Treatment For Pimples On The Clitoris

My female friend has been complaining about a pimple that doesn t have a head for a little while directly on her clitoris, she finally got fed up with the soreness and popped it with a needle and clear fluid came out, I told her to take a tea bag and after making a cup of tea put it directly on it to stop the swelling and it worked now it is slowly going away. I was wondering if you knew if this was a std of some sort?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Very likely the lump that she was able to pop and some fluid came out of it, is a cyst (epidermoid cyst). This is not an STD and is generally not dangerous. On the other hand, it is always safer to have a visit and have it checked to make sure of the exact cause of it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
