General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, greetings! Thanks for the query. Pimples on the skin occur mainly in the teenagers, due to various hormonal imbalances, stress, poor hygiene as it is formed due to clogged facial pores that get infected with bacteria. Measures include washing face with a medicated cleanser and water 3-4 times a day, maintenance of adequate hygiene, local application of antbiotics, antibiotics taken by mouth if it is too severe. A compound called retinoids are effective too, but are associated with a higher incidence of side effects. I suggest that you consult a local dermatologist to guide in finding the most effective approach.
