Hi..
Thanks for your query..
As per your query the pimple like bump on your lip may be due to a number of reasons..
As it looks like pimple it may be Oral
Acne which is caused due to
hormonal imbalance and it can occur to individuals who already have acne problem.
Other reason can be viral infection
Herpes Simplex causing
Cold Sores..
It may also be due to bacterial infection mostly caused by sharing of infected lip balms or other creams applied on lip..
It may also happen due to inflammation or swelling in minor salivary glands on lips which occurs due to excessive exposure to sun..
What you can do is to see a doctor first and get evaluated or the kind of infection or inflammation causing you the bump on the lip..
If there is pain or discomfort you can use topical painkiller like topical lignocaine gel..
If it is bacterial infection antibiotics may be helpful.
If it is viral infection anti viral drugs and topical agents like
Acyclovir can be helpful..
Apply lip balms with sun protection formula to avoid damage to glands by sun exposure..
Keep yourself well hydrated..
Don't let your lips dry.. Use Vaseline or lip balms but should be individually used by you alone..
Do not touch or prick the bump ..
Hope your query is solved..
Thanks and regards..
