Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been diagnosed with 1st degree piles and was advised to go on a diet and exercise. It reduced one month later and there were no more protrusions. But it has cropped up again after one month. What should I do? I am due to get married in a month and this is troubling me a lot. Please advise.
As per our clinical expertise, 1st-degree piles only crop up if there is severe constipation from various reasons. Keep restriction on diet for the intake of the high amount of soluble fiber (including lentils, oat bran, pea). Avoid dairy fat, red meat. Bulk-forming agents as psyllium husk to keep stools soft and sitz bath help great. Be in regular follow up with your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
