General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

For epilepsy you should get a detailed EEG monitoring and correlation with exposure to light as well as with areas of brain showing abnormalities on scan to see whether electrical abnormalities are detected on EEG. If so just avoiding the light may not be enough and you may need to be put on anti epileptics, for long term else the underlying convulsions may further damage the parts of brain where already calcification is present.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
