Suggest Treatment For Persisting Nausea And Diarrhea After Treatment For Gastroenteritis

I have had diareah and nausia for over 3 weeks now and my Dr diag. me w/ sub acute gastroenteritis he has ruled out parasites and salmanila and the other tests that they check in your stool. I just finished taking an antibotic for 5 days generic for Flagy and still I have symptoms. I am on a Fodmop diet no gluten and lactose until symptoms are gone.... What is this? What can I do?

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of persisting nausea and diarrhea after treatment for gastroenteritis which seems to be due to infection by H. Pylori leading to gastroenteritis. It could be due to disturbed metabolism of body as well. Need not to worry at all. I would suggest you to ensure you are giving adequate hydration, oral intake and replenishing water to avoid salt losses. Visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined. You should go for complete examination and start treatment after that. Intravenous fluid administration is also recommended. Don't panic. You should give oral rehydration solution. Give combination of antibiotic along with antihistamine medication.
