Suggest Treatment For Persistent Rash On The Neck And Shoulder

Hi, I had a rash on my neck and shoulder approx 2 weeks ago and the pimples/bumps are now gone. However, I am still very itchy in that area and there are a few spots that looks like welts when aggravated. Is there a topical ointment I can use for this. There were never any blisters or broken skin. Thanks

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You can use a topical steroid cream to help decrease the itching and combine this with a oral anti histamine.

Mild topical steroid creams may be over the counter eg hydrocortisone.
If the mild one is not effective then you may need a prescription for a stronger medication.

The oral antihistamines would be over the counter.

I hope this helps
