I had hepatitis C for many years and got treatment in 2002 with interferon and I ve been testing virus undetectable for years but I fear maybe it s back again. What do you think? i also have super cold feet and feel a tiny bit feverish

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome.
Incomplete data like age, gender, duration of present problem, etc???

Based on the history given you seem to have developed hypothyroidism.
I advise you to consult your doctor for further clinical examination and certain lab tests such as CBC, ESR, thyroid function tests, lipid profile, serological tests for viral hepatitis to find out the possible causes.

If your thyroid function tests are suggestive of hypothyroidism, your doctor would prescribe Levothyroxine.

Hope this answers your query.
