Suggest Treatment For Persistent Ear Aches

I had a knat or flea enter my right ear a few weeks ago and have had an ear ache the last few days. I have tried using warm water to flush out and recently used some ear wax candles to draw it out, but with no luck, I still felt the sensation of its presence. I am fearful this bug will continue to go places it should not. I Googled an image of the ear canal to see where it might be headed, my hope is that it goes through my throat but no sign yet. I believe it has gone through the ear membrane, but unsure of what to do next.

Hi,

Without any fail immediately consult an Emergency room or an Otorhinolaryngologist and get yourself evaluated.

The bug needs to be located inside the ear and should be removed.

Using wax candles and other things can push it deeper and you yourself can tend to damage your eardrum and can damage your hearing also.

Do not put anything inside the ear and get it removed by an expert hand.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
