hello dr my name is parkash wati singla and i m 63. suffering from dry cough for the last 25 days. already taken amoxyclav 625 for five days and grilictis syp montelokast for five days but cough is still there. today went for chest xray and blood test ESR IS 70. xray chest is normal. dr said it a infection. what should i do

This can be either an infection with atypical organisms like mycoplasma or a chronic infection like Tuberculosis. We have to find out the cause and treat accordingly, which needs more detailed evaluation with sputum test, Mantoux test etc. Your doctor will explain in detail.
