Suggest Treatment For Persistent Diarrhea And Vomiting

About 10 days ago I got some sort of stomach bug, several family members had it before me. It started with vomiting, then diarrhea. It wasn t like most where it s bad for a day or so then subsides. This keeps coming back. I go about 24 hrs w/no vomiting and some more solid bowel movements, then I eat something and it starts all over. I vomit, I get diarrhea again, and cramp for several more hours. Prior to getting this I had a cold. Now, I m sick to my stomach off and on and in addition I ve got this cough where I cough and then have this horrible, foul taste in my mouth. It s only there when I cough. I get some mucus up occasionally, so don t know if you d call it a wet or dry cough. Mainly concerned about this stomach thing lasting so long, is that normal?, and this god awful taste I get when I cough?
