Suggest Treatment For Persistent Chest Infection And Cough

Hi I have prominent vasculature left hilar prominence on chest X Ray, I am asthmatic and have been a very occasional smoker in the past. I have stayed in UK, no overseas visit. Recent h/o is that of chest infection 2-3 weeks duration of cough, now clear phlegm, have completed a 7 days course of clarithromycin. Reasons for hilar vascular prominence?

Thanks for your query.
As an asthmatic you are prone for chest infection. Treatment with steroids also increase the risk of chest infections. In any chronic respiratory disease conditions we expect increase in respiratory markings. Keep a watch on your lung function and practice breathing exercises regularly to improve lung functions.
