Hi..I am having my periods for 15 days..5 days only brown discharge and then heavy bleeding for last 10 days..had a utlra sound scan on wed and was told my uterus lining is 10.5mm thick. I still have bleeding. I am on dicyanone and ponstan. Will this stop bleeding. Will i have to go for d and c

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I think you should consult a gynecologist for the complete examination. Get a pelvic examination done to rule out any cervical pathology. Also, get a thyroid profile and prolactin level. If anything is abnormal, it should be treated. You can take high dose of progesterone along with tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. If it doesn't work, then you can go for a DNC.
