General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello and welcome.

I understand that you are trying your best, but please understand that physiotherapy plays a huge role in such cases especially when initiated early and taken care of well enough.

Of course he will not be able to do the physiotherapy himself for a while. My mother too had a stroke and was paralysed to her left, but with early management and the initiation of physiotherapy she now does not even look like she ever had a stroke. Make sure all the medications (e.g. statins, ecosprin, clopidogrel, etc.) are taken in a religious manner and the physiotherapy is vital, really.

Best wishes.
